Uses in-situ Materials

One of the great advantages of TerraPave is that it uses in-situ materials and does not require the import of gravel, aggregates or cement etc. As a powerful soil binder our products will transform the existing soil base into a solid slab that is impervious to water and will not subside, crack or degrade into potholes.

This means the ‘slab’ can also function as a wearing course without the need for asphalt or chipseal. Those people in the industry will understand the huge advantage of not having to truck in enormous quantities of gravel and aggregates etc. In many places it is becoming increasingly more difficult to source quality materials close to the road works which can cause delays and high costs.

A particular benefit we can offer is from using our ‘White’ product which actually dries clear. This means that in some areas that are environmentally sensitive there would not be an intrusion of a black scar across the landscape but instead, a durable and resilient pavement that is the same colour as the surrounding soil – without the dust!
