Virtually Zero Green House Gas Emissions

TerraPave products produce virtually zero GHG’s and are completely non-toxic to the environment. There will be no toxic chemicals leaching into the soil or waterways.

Genuinely reduce your carbon footprint by reducing your emissions, not by simply planting trees to gain Carbon offsets. Many government bodies have declared their intention to become ‘carbon neutral’ by the year 2030 however, the simple fact is that this can never be achieved while roads are constructed with asphalt and cement.

Current road construction practices are one of the largest contributers to GHG emissions in Australia. Asphalt produces around 10m tons of GHG’s per annum. Around 8.5m tons of this is used for road construction.
Compared to creating a 5cm wearing course with asphalt, which produces 7140kg of CO2 emissions per km, a typical Terrapave application will create a far superior road, and will produce only 32kg of CO2 emissions. That is more than 223 times less! i.e. only .448% of the emissions produced by asphalt.

If we include 20cm deep cement stabilisation there is a massive increase of 83,000kgs emissions per km. TerraPave produces 2800 times less!! i.e. only 0.0355% of cement+asphalt emissions.
